Centre of Excellence (COE) in Smart Factory/Industry 4.0

The Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Smart Factory/Industry 4.0 has been established at SREC in

Collaboration with Wipro PARI- WIN Automation (Wipro Infrastructure Engineering), Bengaluru.

The centre is equipped with Collaborative Robot (HCR-5 Make: Hanwha)HCR-5 Make: Hanwha),

ABB Robot with training cell to perform palletizing, pick and place operations. The Collaborative Robot is

installed with Cognex vision system to identify and classify the objects. Automated Guided

Vehicle (AGV) operating on ROS performs material transfer between Robot, Cobot and Storage

Station. An Industrial IoT (IIoT) platform - PTC Thingworx Kepware (Licenced version) provides

monitoring and control of physical processes of Robot, Cobot, PLC based Automation systems

and Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV).
